Born and raised in Southern California, Ryan is a proud Aztec who graduated from San Diego State University in 1996. That same year, Ryan started his insurance career at Arrowhead General Insurance Agency in the technical support department where he mastered rating and submission software. By 1998 he was ready to work more closely with the clients and products so he transitioned to the personal lines marketing team. It was there that he developed his long-term relationships with agents by collaborating on growth strategies that focused on increased agency efficiency and productivity through automated tools. In 2007, Ryan was named Chief Marketing Officer at Arrowhead and went on to oversee a variety of successful projects, including the continued integration of online tools throughout the organization that ensured program growth for both personal and commercial products. After the sale of Arrowhead to Brown and Brown Insurance in 2012, Ryan joined the team at Personable General Insurance Agency as the senior vice president of sales and marketing. Via strategic acquisitions and organic growth, he helped to successfully grow Personable’s business in three years from $15 million in written premium to $105 million, which facilitated the sale to Abry Partners in 2014. By January 2016, Ryan was ready to take his two decades of insurance experience to start up Prospect General.
After graduating from Princeton University in 1997, Graham traveled around the world before beginning his insurance career in 1998 at the San Francisco branch of E.W. Blanch Co. as a Reinsurance Broker. There he supported senior members on various product and client development. He then moved to Collins Associates where he mainly aggregated capacity for Program Administrator opportunities. In 2012, Graham joined Arrowhead General Insurance Agency in a product development role where he focused on Professional Liability lines of business.
In late 2013 he took an opportunity to build a new product unit for SES Insurance Brokerage Services, Inc. where he focused on property and liability coverage for Real Estate Investors. The book grew quickly to nearly $10 million in written premium in less than three years. Graham joined Prospect General in April of 2016 to assist with the overall growth of the company while focusing on developing the Real Estate Investor Program.
Craig is a San Diego native who, after graduating from the University of California, Santa Barbara returned home to begin his career. Before joining Prospect General, Craig worked in finance as a business analyst for LPL Financial, the nation’s largest independent broker-dealer. There he specialized in macro-trend analysis with a primary focus on process design and workflow automation. After developing a strong, root-cause focused approach, he made the decision to join Palomar Specialty Insurance Company as a lead project manager in 2016. His primary responsibilities while working for Palomar Specialty were in serving as a cross-functional contributor to several key departments, including: Analytics, Compliance, Accounting and Operations. After a quick year had passed, Craig was presented with another opportunity to help assist in the development of Prospect General. Here, Craig serves as a Product Manager with primary duties focusing on the following: Market analysis and opportunity identification, Product design and distribution, financial analysis and business relationship development.
Alexa is a San Diego native and a proud San Diego State Aztec. She attended SDSU on a Track and Field scholarship for the discus throw. She earned a B.S. in Public Administration with a minor in Television, Film, and New Media and finished her collegiate track career as an All-American discus thrower and 9th at NCAA Nationals. In 2017, Alexa earned her Masters in Public Administration with an emphasis in foreign affairs. Later that year, she joined the Prospect General Sales & Marketing team. Alexa previously interned with the San Diego Diplomacy Council and arranged diplomatic visits to the city and she coaches track part-time at a local high school.
